I am incredibly excited about this performance.  My quartet, the Guidonian Hand, will premiere a new work called Pump Music for violin, trombone quartet, and location recordings of hand pumps found in campgrounds along the Mississippi River.  The music is by composer, Eve Beglarian and we will be privileged to work with violinist, Mary Rowell

The Guidonian Hand will be making our first appearance at the renowned Bang on a Can Marathon.  We will play Awakening by Jeremy Howard Beck and In and Out of the Game by Eve Beglarian.  More details soon…

I will be joining Monique Buzzarté and several other notable trombonists including Stuart Dempster, William Lang, and Sebastian Vera to perform Monique’s piece Subtle Winds at this memorial for sound artist, David Gamper.
